Tonbo Tea Menu

Enjoy a variety of noodle dishes and light snacks drawn from environs across Othard and beyond, and a selection of tea personally curated by proprietor Yatsurugi Yukimi.

Specials may be available on request. If you have any dietary needs or restrictions, please let our staff know so we can accommodate you.

Menu items are often supplemented by chef's choice offerings, local dishes, or other limited-time offerings. Vegetarian versions of dishes are offered whenever possible, though we regret that it is not always an option.

Teas are sourced from local farms whenever possible. Please support small businesses and independent craftsmen.

(( Out of Character: No prices are listed because it's impossible to really pin down just how much gil is worth to the non-adventurer! Assume that the cost of a meal is a reasonable expense - Yukimi and company aren't looking to make a gigantic profit, just to keep things operating. All transactions are RP-only: tips are appreciated but never required. ))

Yatsurugi Yukimi is the owner and proprietor of Tonbo Tea, along with her partner L'haylen Laa. When not managing the tea house, she can be found procuring specialty supplies from traveling merchants, or managing security for the Armory Amore, home to the Nomad Aegis Free Company.

moonlight

Dancing Moonlight is the face you will most likely see when you walk in the front door. Her friendly smile and warm heart help make Tonbo Tea the welcoming place that it is. When not matching guests with the perfect food pairings, she can be found with the Nomad Aegis, as the Lady of Amore.

L'haylen Laa is the other owner of Tonbo Tea, and the reason for half the name of the shop. She lets her partner Yukimi do most of the day to day management, but don't be fooled, the tea house wouldn't exist without her. Loh is responsible for several of the paintings hanging on the teahouse walls - but you'll have to ask her which ones!

Tonbo Tea has a wide variety of seating for all your needs. Whether you're looking for a quiet private meeting, a cozy quick cup, or to meet new friends, we have a place for you.

Looking for quiet relaxation? Mai-Hyun tends the book stand outside. If the weather is nice, stop by and find a good story to read by the pond!

Shirayuki and Minami are always ready with a quick smile and a kind word - and meat buns to go! Take some snacks to your friends!

If you see Ryoshi, say hi! This little scamp loves to meet new people (especially if they give him snacks). Don't worry, he's friendly and kind!

Kojiro makes delightful noodles and buns, and don't worry, the only thing bad about Warui's cooking is his name! These two chefs have the kitchen covered, and sometimes try new experimental dishes!

Our otter statue that greets you by the front gate was imported from across the Ruby Sea! Don't forget to rub his belly for good luck!

For a fine and comfortable dining experience, private booths are available!

Our indoor garden is perfect for quiet and contemplative getaways - even if you're not properly sized for an otterly adorable fishing trip in the pond!
